Jalandhar: The birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh was celebrated with devotion at The Nobel School. Prof CL Kochhar, Director; Saroj Sharma, Principal; Ravinder Kaur, and the teaching staff organised a soulful kirtan darbar. The event began with the recitation of Japji Sahib and shabad hymns, followed by Anand Sahib. Prof Kochhar delivered an inspiring speech on Guru Gobind Singh’s life, sacrifices, and teachings, emphasising his principles of bravery and equality. The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad.

Workshop on stress management

State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, hosted a workshop for teachers on the topic of “Stress Management.” The session was conducted by Dr HS Pal, an eminent medical professional and founder of Pal Hospital, Jalandhar Cantt. The workshop aimed to equip educators with tools to handle stress in their personal and professional lives. Dr Pal shared insights on achieving holistic well-being by focusing on five key areas: spiritual, mental, financial, physical, and emotional goals. He stressed the importance of aligning one’s actions with these goals to lead a balanced and peaceful life. The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from teachers, who gained practical strategies to manage stress effectively. Principal Savina Bahl thanked Dr Pal for the insightful session.

Law college joins CEV group

St Soldier Law College furthered its growth by becoming an academic institutional member of the CEV group. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by Dr SC Sharma, Director of St Soldier Law College, and Sundeep Bansal, general secretary of CEV. The partnership was formalized with the presentation of an institutional membership certificate to Dr Sharma by Bansal. Expressing excitement about the collaboration, Dr Sharma stated, “We are thrilled to join CEV’s academic community. This partnership provides our students and faculty with valuable opportunities to engage with leading professionals and advance in legal education and professional development.”
