St Joseph’s Convent School celebrated the theme “My Planet, My Home” with house shows held over four days on campus. Led by Principal Sister Archana, students showcased their creativity through unique interpretations of the five essential elements — air, water, fire, sky and earth. The performances, featuring dance and thought-provoking dramas, highlighted the critical role of these elements in sustaining life. The grand finale was a lively bhangra performance, leaving the audience inspired with a message of environmental awareness and responsibility.
Magic show at Sanskriti KMV School
Sanskriti KMV School hosted a captivating magic show for its nursery students, blending wonder and creativity. The young performers took the stage with confidence, embodying roles like astronauts, tooth fairies and doctors while portraying themes of healthy living and celebrating Chandrayaan’s success. An endearing tribute to Charlie Chaplin added charm to the event. Principal Rachna Monga praised the students’ enthusiasm and commended the magical experience created during the show.
62nd foundation day of KVS
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan celebrated its 62nd Foundation Day at PM SHRI K V No. 2, Jalandhar Cantt. The event was presided over by Principal Ravinder Kumar and attended by dignitaries, including Dr Jaswant Minhas and JD Guru. Special guest Dr Harish Chander, an alumnus and Deputy Director at the National Institute of Biology, inspired students with his speech on striving for excellence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Ugra Mohan Yadav.
Lyallpur college NCC cadets feted
Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus honoured its NCC cadets for excelling in the NCC ‘C’ certificate examination. The ‘C’ certificate is the highest accolade for NCC cadets, offering recruitment benefits in paramilitary forces and reserved IMA vacancies. Cadets shared their training experiences, and Director of Academic Affairs Sukhbir Singh Chatha lauded their dedication and enthusiasm.
Annual Prize Distribution Function
The Noble School held its annual prize distribution function with great pomp. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Saraswati Vandana. Students entertained the audience with dances, including bhangra and gidda, while the special presentation “Abhaar” received a thunderous response. Awards were given to meritorious students, celebrating their academic achievements.
Annual Sports Meet 2024-25
Cambridge International School, Phagwara, hosted its Annual Sports Meet with a grand opening march past. Chief guest Maj Gen Harmeet Singh and guest of honour Col Guneet Singh applauded the participants. Academic achievers were awarded cash prizes, with Rs 50,000 for those scoring above 95% and Rs 30,000 for those scoring above 90% in Grade 12. A Zumba session added energy to the event, with students, teachers, and parents enthusiastically participating.

Safety Week at Eklavya School

Science teacher Gaurav Mehandiratta explained traffic rules and bus etiquette, while Principal Komal Arora emphasized the importance of safety in all aspects of life.
