Campus notes: Silver jubilee celebrated

Jalandhar: St Soldier Divine Public School, Bhogpur, celebrated its silver jubilee. Group Chairman Anil Chopra and vice-Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra were present as the chief guests. They were welcomed by School Director Amrik Singh, Principal Chander Jyoti and other staff. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp, the report was then read by the School Director. All the students of the school and their parents were present on the occasion. The meritorious students who brought laurels to the institute in academics, sports and cultural activities were felicitated.

Jalandhar: Cambridge International School (Co-Ed) hosted a Talent Conclave-cum Parent-Teacher Meet, providing students across all grades with an opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity and intellectual prowess. Faculty Development Programme

Jalandhar: A Faculty Development Programme on ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ was organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts. Resource Person Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra addressed the faculty members on the subject. She said Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global objectives established by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Alumni Meet organised

Kapurthala: The HKCian Alumni Association of Hindu Kanya College organised an Alumni Meet with the aim of keeping former students connected with its alma mater. Around 100 alumni participated in this event. The event was graced by Tilak Raj Aggarwal, president of the College Management Committee, and the members of the association, Geeta Ghai, Dr Nitya Sharma, Sakeena and Neeraj Sahgal. Dr Monika Aggarwal, president of the Alumni Association, delivered a welcome speech through a video presentation, sharing her memories.

Donation campaign at Pingalwara

Jalandhar: To spread warmth and kindness during the winter season, the Youth Club of PCM SD College for Women organised a donation campaign. Clothes were distributed at Pingalwara bringing joy and comfort to the underprivileged. President Naresh Kumar Budhia, senior vice-president Vinod Dada and Principal Prof Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the effort.
