Campus Notes: Students get warm welcome
Jalandhar: Students of State Public School were welcomed back from winter vacation with pomp and show. The celebration featured cheerful music, lively dance performances and colourful decorations that filled the atmosphere with happiness. A special morning assembly by the teachers was held, where teachers and students gathered to carry on with the classes with fresh energy and enthusiasm. The event set a vibrant tone for the learning and fun that lies ahead in the coming days. President Narotam Singh, vice-president Gagandeep Kaur and Principal Savina Bahl were delighted to see the smiling faces of young learners once again in the school campus.
ST SOLDIER TEAM WINs BRONZE
Jalandhar: Students of St Soldier College, Danishmandan, secured the third position in Guru Nanak Dev University Intercollege Championship (Division B). A total number of 16 teams participated across Punjab under the supervision of college principal Sunil Kumar and the team coordinator Raj Kumar Loach and bowling team coach Savier. The players of the team were Abhimanyu, Abhishek, Akash, Aryan Goutam, Deepak Kumar, Dhanraj, Himanshu Ratra, Honey, Mohamad Sahil, Mohit, Nitish, Prince, Ritik, Sahil Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Suraj and Kumar Wassan. Among the team members, Abhimanyu got declared as the best player who scored 160 score in the match. On this achievement, group chairman Anil Chopra and vice-chairperson Sangeeta Chopra honoured all students and motivated them to work hard for future.
Nobel School student BAGS award
Jalandhar: UCMAS International Competition was organised at the Multipurpose Hall, University of Delhi. Ishrat Kaur Sandal, a student of Class V of The Nobel School, displayed her talent and won the National Merit Award. She made everyone proud by winning the trophy and the second runner-up trophy at the international level. Ishrat's achievement was appreciated by the school chairman CL Kochhar, managing director Kumar Shiv Kochhar, school director Saroj Sharma and school principal Ravinder Kaur extended hearty congratulations to his parents. Expressing pride, he said Ishrat had made the school proud with her extraordinary performance.
