Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has said that the BJP-led Union Government is misbehaving with farmers.

Talking to mediapersons at Vishwakarma Mandir here today, he said the Central Government was arrogant and it would have to bear the consequences in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Channi said Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was also watching everything as an observer. Haryana Police were firing tear gas shells at the protesting farmers. One of the youths also died during the firing. But the Punjab Government did not register any case so far.
