Chugh to discuss law, order issues with Shah
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday said that he would discuss all issues related to law and order problem with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
While visiting the house of party leader Manoranjan Kalia, on which a grenade had been hurled on April 8, Chugh said that no one felt safe in Punjab and even the police stations were facing terror attacks.
“I am not raising any doubts about the bravery and the courage of the Punjab Police, but the fact is that their hands are tied. The AAP leaders and MLAs have been controlling the police. Those governing the state are completely inexperienced people. The AAP leaders are known to have even stay put in the house of a terrorist in the pastm,” he said while interacting with the media.
Chugh said, “Jails have turned into offices of gangsters. They are giving interviews from confinement and executing all sorts of plans, including extortion, murders, etc. It has been this government that publicly announced the cut in the security of VVIPs, which led to the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala. We have not seen such kind of an atmosphere earlier.”
