Prof Kunwer Rajeev, Associate Prof and Head, the department of physics, DAV College, Jalandhar, was honoured with ‘Rashtriya Saujanya Award’ by Punjab Kala Sahitya Akademi. The award was given for his achievements, awards and records in the field of memory.
He was awarded certificate, medal and momento at a function organised by the academy at Lions Bhawan here. Prof Rajeev has got his name registered in Limca Book of Records, India Book of Records, Golden Book of Records, World Records India and many more record books. He has been awarded with many prestigious awards by various Indian organisations. He has delivered more than 100 talks on mind and memory skill. He is the first Indian to memorise the basic data of all 545 MPs of the 16th as well as 17th Lok Sabha of India.
Various achievers in the field of education, literature, education, dance, journalism etc from all over the country were honoured during the ceremony. The dignitaries and guests of honour at the function were Manoranjan Kalia, Baba Sewa Singh, Thakur Satya Prakash, Rajinder Beri, Prof Suresh Seth and their associates. — TNS
