Construction of 4 rural link roads started in Phagwara

The project was launched by AAP state spokesperson and constituency in-charge Harnoor (Harji) Mann, aiming to boost local connectivity and infrastructure.
Harji Mann stated that the initiative, costing a total of Rs 3.20 crore, marks a significant development for the region. The four roads include: the 5.55 km Phagwara-Hoshiarpur Road to Jagpalpur via Dugg at Rs 1.38 crore; the 3 km Phagwara-Hoshiarpur Road to Jagpalpur via Sikri at Rs 62.71 lakh; the 4.08 km Bhakhriyana to Ranipur Road at Rs 89.96 lakh; and the 1.40 km Bhakhriyana to Kotli Than Singh Marg at Rs 29.42 lakh.
He assured residents that construction on additional link roads in the constituency will commence soon, emphasising a commitment to the comprehensive development of Phagwara.
The inauguration was attended by a large gathering of local leaders and Panchayat representatives, including Balbir Chand of Jagpalpur, Mamta Kaur of Sikri, Palvinder Singh of Ramgarh, Harmesh Pal Singh, Sukhdev Pal Singh, Amritpal Singh, Gurdev Singh, Surjit Singh, Dalvinder Singh, Satnam Singh Shama, Joga Singh, Jatinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Harvinder Singh, Amarjit, Balwinder Singh, Harvinder Kaur, Kulwant Singh and other prominent figures from nearby villages.
