A head constable posted at PAP Complex here was crushed by a train on tracks near Jalandhar Cantonment railway station today. The deceased, Kashmir Singh, was a resident of Madala village near Lohian.

ASI Lalit Kumar posted with the GRP said the body had been sent to the Civil Hospital. Prima facie, it seems to be a suicide and probe is on, he said.
