Cops participate in 'Main vi Harjeet Singh' campaign

Saluting the Sub-Inspector (SI) Harjeet Singh, while on duty during the curfew, police personnel and officers participated in ‘Main vi Harjeet Singh’ campaign wearing the badges of Harjeet Singh. Residents of the city also supported them showing posters of ‘#Main vi Harjeet Singh’ and #Main vi Punjab Police.

The campaign was carried out on the orders of DGP, Punjab, police personnel and officers wore the badges of Harjit Singh and saluted him. They also had paper plackets over their uniform having #Main vi Harjeet Singh printed on them.

During this, DSP Amarnath said on the orders of DGP, Punjab, they had launched Main vi Harjeet Singh campaign to salute the bravery of SI Harjit Singh and to encourage the police personnel, who were performing their duty dedicatedly.

During this, police personnel wear the badges of Harjeet Singh’s name and # Main Vi Harjeet Singh was trended on social media platforms. He appealed to the people that while the police personnel were working day and night in this difficult situation, everyone should help to get rid of Covid-19 by following the instructions of the government regarding curfew and the lockdown while staying at their houses.
