City-based real estate firm AGI Infra Ltd marked International Women’s Day with a celebration at its office in Urbana, 66-ft Road, highlighting the contribution of women at workplace and calling for greater corporate involvement in gender empowerment.

The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony attended by women officials and workers, with Managing Director Sukhdev Singh, Project Director Varinder Singh and Salwinderjit Kaur present to acknowledge their efforts. Salwinderjit Kaur praised the dedication and efficiency of women employees, emphasising their vital role in the company’s operations. Sukhdev Singh urged corporate houses to actively support women’s empowerment through inclusive workplaces, entrepreneurship opportunities and skill development.
