Covid-19: 4 die, 75 test positive in Hoshiarpur

The district reported four more deaths due to Covid, taking the toll to 944 on Saturday. Besides, the district also witnessed 75 fresh cases, with which the toll went up to 29,825.

Giving information, Civil Surgeon Dr Ranjit Singh said the number of active cases in the district stood at 145 and 28,136 patients had recovered from the virus.

Of the total number of cases reported, 59 patients were from Hoshiarpur district and six were reported from other districts. The fatalities were reported from various Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana and Amritsar hospitals.
