Curtains come down on The Tribune Health Care Awards in Phagwara

Curtains came down on The Tribune Health Care Awards 2025, held on Saturday evening at The Cabanna Resort, Phagwara.

The event brought together 21 doctors and hospital owners, who engaged in an interactions in the presence of The Tribune Group management. The Tribune created the platform to honour healthcare professionals for their exceptional service and dedication. The awards were instituted to recognise doctors who have made significant contributions to healthcare and medical sciences in India with selfless commitment.

Among the awardees were Dr. Vijay Kumar (Founder & Director, Kumar Dental Hospital, Jalandhar), honoured as a ‘Globally Trusted Oral Implantologist and Cosmetic Dentist’; Dr. Ashmeet Singh (Senior Consultant Psychiatrist & Managing Director, ANR Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Jalandhar), awarded the ‘Pioneer in Psychiatry Excellence Award’; and Dr. Raman Chawla (Director Cum Chief Cardiologist, Carebest Superspeciality Hospital, Jalandhar), recipient of the ‘Cardiology Icon Award’.

Other recipients included Dr. Pankaj Trivedi (M.Ch, Endoscopic Spine Surgeon, Spine Masters Pvt. Ltd., Jalandhar), recognised as ‘Pioneer in Endoscopic Spine Surgery’; Dr. S. Rajan (Chairman Cum Chief Eye Surgeon, Dr. Rajan Eye Hospital, Phagwara), awarded ‘Pioneer in Robotic Cataract and Silk Laser Surgery’; Dr. Munish Aggarwal (MD Medicine, DNB Gastroenterology, Director & Chairman, Aggarwal Liver and Gut Superspeciality Hospital & New Aggarwal Multispeciality Hospital, Jalandhar), honoured as ‘Pioneer in Gastroenterology Treatment’; and Dr. Praveen Devgan (Director & Chief Surgeon, Altec Laser Hospital, Amritsar), recognised for ‘Excellence in Laparoscopic and Laser Surgery.
