Delivery boy brutally murdered in Mehatpur

A shocking case of brutal murder has emerged from Mehatpur (Nakodar) where a young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances.

Inderjit Kaur, mother of the deceased Rajveer (19), revealed that her son worked as a delivery boy at a local restaurant. She last spoke to Rajveer on the phone the previous night. When she asked him when he would return home, he told her that he was picking up food for a friend and would be late. However, when he did not return home and stopped answering calls, she grew concerned.

Inderjit Kaur, along with Rajveer’s friends and some locals, began searching for him. Their worst fears came true when they discovered his body lying in a field along the Haripur-Mehatpur road. His face and neck bore deep stab wounds, suggesting that he had been brutally attacked.

DSP, Shahkot, Onkar Singh Brar, confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. He said the culprits would be identified and arrested soon.
