Jalandhar, July 19
Ahead of Rakshabandhan on August 11, the Department of Posts has started a special camp which will go on till August 8. Special counters have been set up at the camp. Rakhi booking is also being done for some areas.
The counters also have a special provision for Speed Post and Registered Post so that visitors do not have
to stand in long queues
to send Rakhis within India or abroad.
Special Rakhi envelopes, priced at Rs 10, Rs 15 and Rs 20, according to sizes have also been made available at the camp. Senior Superintendent of Posts urged customers to make maximum use of the facility for the festival.
