Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Disha — An Initiative hosted its annual award ceremony themed Dharohar at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town. The event celebrated the LEAP (Leadership Excellence in Academic Performance) Awards 2024, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across five schools.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Deputy Director In-charge of the Sub-Regional Office, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Jalandhar.

Dr Palak Gupta Bowry, Director of CSR, emphasised the trust’s contributions to education and healthcare under the Disha initiative. She highlighted its focus on youth development, integration of technology in education and fostering innovation in teaching practices.

The ceremony honoured students achieving over 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations. Yadav, alongside Dr Anup Bowry (Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group), Dr Chander Bowry (Finance Secretary) and Dr Palak Gupta Bowry, presented awards to these high achievers.
