DLSA Secy holds meet over next National Lok Adalat on Sept 14

Chief Judicial Magistrate Raj Pal Rawal, who is also Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), held a meeting with panel advocates and legal aid defence counsels regarding the 3rd Rashtriya Lok Adalat to be held on September 14. During the meeting, discussions were held with the officers present regarding the cases to be placed before the National Lok Adalat.

All the panel advocates were asked to publicise more and more in the villages regarding the National Lok Adalat to be held on September 14. Instructions were given to inform the general public through seminars, media and through other means and make them aware of the National Lok Adalat so that maximum cases can be settled and people may avail the benefit of such Lok Adalats.

Besides, it was told that during these seminars people should be made aware of various legal services, how to avail them and how to resolve their queries in this regard. Rawal said that during the month, panel advocates and PLVs had visited different villages, cities and seminars were organised in schools and colleges too.
