Documentary on Hoshiarpur mango orchards released

Hoshiarpur, July 22

To mark National Mango Day, Hoshiarpur DC Komal Mittal released a documentary film and pictorial art depicting ‘A Tribute to Hoshiarpur’s Bountiful Mango Orchards’ compiled in form of a portrait and brochure. The brochure highlighted the rich heritage and significance of mango orchards of Kala Bagh, Bhunga village in Hoshiarpur.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
