Drug awareness camp
A drug awareness camp was held at the School of Eminence in Banga, aimed at sensitising students about the dangers of substance abuse. The event was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society’s Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts (IRCA), Nawanshahr, under the guidance of Shivdular Singh, IAS (Retd), Honorary Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, and in collaboration with the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan."
The camp was presided over by Principal Amrik Singh and witnessed participation from faculty and students.
Chaman Singh, Project Director of IRCA, highlighted the vulnerability of teenagers to drug abuse due to peer pressure and psychological stress during adolescence.
