Vaibhav Bajaj, a student of MGN Public School, Urban Estate, has done the city proud by scoring All-India Rank (AIR) 35 in the JEE Main.

Vaibhav had scored 99.9987 percentile in the third JEE attempt and was confident of a good rank. A resident of Urban Estate here, he had been pursuing super-medical stream and says he thoroughly enjoyed studying biology along with mathematics. Still indecisive on whether he would opt for engineering or research, he said: “My focus currently is on JEE Advance, which is scheduled for October 3.” —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
