A guest lecture was organised by UILS, PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur, wherein former MP Avinash Rai Khanna, Vice-Chairman Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development was the keynote speaker. He spoke on the topic ‘Ethics and Fundamental Duties’. Khanna spoke about a healthy mind in a healthy body and highlighted the relevance of duties in one’s life. He said these days everyone is very much aware of their rights. He said that duties are inseparable of rights and no one can even dream of having rights without duties. He said that it’s good that people are aware of their rights but they must also ensure to perform duties.

“We shouldn’t be asking what the country has given us, but introspect about what we have done or can do for our country,” said Khanna
