Retirement often marks the end of formal service—but for Dr Kamal Kishore, former Senior Medical Officer at Phagwara Civil Hospital, it is merely a transition into a new phase of selfless dedication.

Demonstrating that public service has no expiry date, Dr Kishore continues to contribute meaningfully to the hospital even after his retirement. During a recent visit, he identified a critical need for improved cooling facilities in the hospital, especially with rising summer temperatures affecting both patients and staff.

Moved by the situation, Dr Kishore approached GNA University with a humble request to support the civil hospital. His sincerity bore fruit, as the university promptly responded by donating two high-capacity air conditioners to help improve patient care conditions.
