An eye donation awareness camp was organised at Kartar Memorial Hospital, Taggar Sikri in collaboration with the Naujwan Kisan Mazdoor Bhalai Society and the Eye Donation Association. The event saw participation from the hospital’s MD, Paramveer Singh, Davinder Singh, hospital staff and several dignitaries from the local area.

Leading the camp, Onkar Singh Khalsa invited Prof Bahadur Singh Sunet to the stage, who provided detailed information about the eye donation activities conducted by the organisation and urged the audience to come forward and pledge their support for eye donation.

The head doctor of Jot Hospital, Hariana delivered an informative talk on various eye diseases. Meanwhile, General Secretary Baljit Singh outlined the organisation’s agenda and plans for the near future.

Other notable contributors included Master Davinder Singh Bure Jattan, Master Gurpoit Singh, Santosh Saini and Jatinder Kaur, who shared their views on the importance of eye donation.

MD Paramveer Singh expressed gratitude to the guests for their presence and assured full cooperation from the hospital. He also honoured the dignitaries with tokens of appreciation. Baba Balveer Singh of the Old Age Home Hariana praised the organisers for taking this noble initiative to raise awareness about eye donation.
