They raised slogans against Som Parkash and the BJP led Central Government. The protest rally was addressed by BKU district president Mandeep Singh Samra and youth wing district president Amarjot Singh who said the farmers were frustrated because they’re demands were being ignored. They alleged that Union Minister Som Parkash was not raising their issues before the Centre. The leaders urged the Union Government to fulfill their long-pending demands at the earliest.
