In the vicinity of the Income Tax Colony, shopkeepers report soaring demand for flags, with both youngsters and adults seeking them for vehicles and rooftops. Festivities include burning firecrackers and illuminating homes with diyas and lights, making it a joyous occasion.”

Mukta, another resident of Jalandhar Heights, reveals their society’s preparations, including a Ramayan Path starting on Sunday morning, live telecast of Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram from Ayodhya Dham, Ram Bhajan, and a langar for devotees.

At many places, residents are also taking out small processions holding flags in their hands, making people aware about the significance of January 22 holds for them. Moreover, various temples and organisations in the city are also gearing up for the event.
