FIR lodged week after snatching
Hoshiarpur: Seven days after the incident, the Garhshankar police have registered an FIR against unidentified youths who had run after snatching a woman’s purse on August 1 from near Padrana village. According to the information received, Ram Lubhaya of Bharta Ganeshpur village in his statement to the police said on August 1, he was going from his village to Garhshankar with his wife. When they reached Padrana village, two youths came on a bike from behind, snatched his wife’s purse and fled the spot. Now, after seven days, the police have lodged a case of robbery against unknown persons on the statement of the accused. oc
