Four arrested for forcibly taking away auto

Tracing a robbery incident occurred in December last year in which an auto-rickshaw was forcibly taken away from its driver, the Navi Baradari police today arrested all suspects involved in the case.

A stolen mobile phone, jewellery and cash were recovered from the suspects. The incident occurred at the Sant Nagar railway crossing, near the city railway station, when the auto-rickshaw driver went to drop a passenger who misguided him and robbed him along with his accomplices at the spot.

The suspects have been identified as Mohit and Arjun Singh, residents of the Bashirpura Colony, and Narinder and Balwinder, residents of Santoshi Nagar. A case under Sections 379-B and 34 has been registered against them.
