According to Dilawar Mohammad, who is currently under medical care, the clash began when his son Naveen, a painter by profession, was returning home from work and was allegedly stopped and assaulted by a group of youths from the neighbouring village of Malikpur. Later, when the victim’s family members approached the accused to discuss the matter, they were reportedly attacked with sharp weapons, resulting in serious injuries.

Dr Gagandeep Bhatti, who is attending to the injured at the Civil Hospital, confirmed that the victims were undergoing treatment and their condition was being closely monitored.
