Although one union resumed work after the strike was called off, another remains on strike, delaying full restoration of sanitation services. Residents have raised concerns over unhygienic conditions and health risks. Efforts are ongoing to mediate with striking workers. Meanwhile, Urban Estate Welfare Society has urged authorities to relocate a waste dump in their locality, citing persistent inconvenience.
