GNA varsity’s ‘Abhaar’ ceremony for teachers

Under the guidance of Chancellor Gurdip Singh Sihra, GNA University successfully organised its Academic Excellence Award Ceremony – “Abhaar 2025”, on the campus. The event was dedicated to recognising and appreciating the invaluable contribution of teachers and principals across Punjab.

This year’s ceremony witnessed the presence of more than 100 schools from across Punjab, including both CBSE and PSEB affiliated schools. The event began with a welcome address by Dr Hemant Sharma, GNA University Vice-Chancellor, who extended his gratitude to the teaching fraternity. He highlighted the role of teachers as nation-builders and emphasised the university’s commitment to strengthening the bond between schools and higher education institutions.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the motivational session by Dr Sunil Keswani, a corporate motivator trainer, who delivered an engaging talk on “Minimize Stress, Maximize Success”.

During the event, teachers and schools were honored with awards of appreciation for their outstanding efforts in academics and holistic development of students. The celebration also featured cultural performances and moments of gratitude dedicated to the teaching community.
