Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) is set to establish a skill development centre under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
As part of this initiative, the university is launching 53 new certificate and diploma courses focused on skill enhancement. The university, which holds the highest NAAC score (3.85/4.0) among Indian universities, will offer training in finance, health, management, computer science, AI and machine learning. This initiative follows a visit by Dr Sandeep Singh Kaura, Adviser to the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), for the Skill India International Mission.
