GOC motivates cadets at Sainik School in Kapurthala
Kapurthala, August 3
Lt Gen Ajay Chandpuria, who recently joined as the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Corps, visited Sainik School in Kapurthala on Thursday. Wing Commander Deepika Rawat, Officiating Principal, welcomed him at the campus. The day commenced with a tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes as the GOC offered a floral homage at the ‘Smriti Sthal’ within the school’s precincts. The school auditorium pulsated with youthful energy as cadets welcomed him. Lt Gen Chandpuria delivered a speech that resonated deeply with the aspiring cadets.
He said, “Education, is the bedrock upon which human potential flourishes. The cadets embody the promise of our great nation. Your mission is to cultivate unwavering commitment, laser-like focus, vigilant alertness and steadfast discipline. These virtues have been the cornerstones of my own journey.”
The school band gave a spirited performance, followed by a commemorative photograph with the band and a tree-planting ceremony. — TNS
