The Department of Punjabi, SD College, Hoshiarpur, hosted a guest lecture on the topic “Addressing the Loss of Global Talent for Sustainable Future” to discuss the critical issue of global talent loss and its implications. Prof Bhupinder Singh, a Supreme Court of England and Wales solicitor, writer and prominent Sikh Historian, was the guest speaker.

He emphasised the importance of retaining and nurturing talent in own country.

He said every student had the potential to thrive in their own country.

Prof SS Kapoor, another speaker at the event, highlighted the value of education and hard work. He said though students have to face numerous challenges in India, their diligence and perseverance will surely lead them to have better career options on their own land.

Dr Hema Sharma, President of the College Managing Committee, Secretary Gopal Sharma, and Principal Dr Savita Gupta Aeri thanked the guests.
