Governor of Punjab Gulab Chand Kataria will lead a two-day ‘People’s Walk Against Drugs’ under the Nasha Mukt-Rangla Punjab Campaign on December 10 and 11. This initiative, part of the national Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, underscores the need for collective action and community participation to combat the pervasive issue of substance abuse.

The walk, organised in partnership with the Red Cross Society and guided by noted social worker and writer Khushwant Singh, will mobilise citizens to unite against drug addiction.

On December 10, the journey will begin from Beas village, home to 114-year-old marathoner Fauja Singh, and will culminate in Bathan village in Jalandhar district.
