Harvinder Singh takes charge as new SSP (Rural)

Harvinder Singh, PPS, took charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Jalandhar (Rural). Talking to the media after assuming charge, he said it was a matter of pride for him that he got an opportunity to serve the public. He thanked the Punjab Government and the Police Department for reposing faith in him.

Harvinder Singh said, “As the new SSP, I assure public that every possible effort will be made to maintain law and order in Jalandhar (Rural), ensure safety of all and resolve community concerns in an easy manner.” He appealed to residents to become partners in the fight against drugs. He said strict action would be taken against drug peddlers.

He also asked people to report any suspicious activity or crime at their nearest police station or at the police helpline number.
