HC Judge inspects Hoshiarpur courts
Hoshiarpur, August 31
Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, Administrative Judge visited the District Court of Hoshiarpur today to inspect the functioning of the courts within the district. The visit included interactions with judges, district administration officials, and court staff to assess the operational efficiency and address any concerns related to court management.
Following her inspection, Justice Kaul proceeded to the Bar room, where she was welcomed by the president of the District Bar Association, Advocate Ranjit Kumar, along with other executive members.
Advocate Ranjit Kumar highlighted several key issues and challenges faced by the legal community in their day-to-day work. He emphasised the need for improvements to facilitate better working conditions for lawyers in the district.
Justice Kaul acknowledged the significant role that lawyers play in the justice delivery system. She stressed the importance of mutual understanding and maintaining a harmonious relationship between the judiciary and the legal community to effectively serve the public. She assured the attendees that the concerns raised by the Bar Association would be addressed promptly and efforts would be made to resolve them soon.
The event concluded with the presentation of a memento to Justice Kaul by the District Bar Association’s executive members, including Advocate Ranjit Kumar, Navjot Mann (vice-president), Rajini Nanda (general secretary), Nipun Sharma (secretary), Ishan Kaushal (library secretary), and Roman Sabharwal (treasurer).
