HDCA’s Shivani selected in Punjab U-23 team
Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA) player Shivani’s selection in Punjab Under-23 team is a matter of pride for all residents and this has made the entire district proud. Giving information in this regard, HDCA secretary Dr Raman Ghai said the other players of the association are excited with Shivani’s selection in Punjab team and this was an encouragement for them.
Dr Raman said the Punjab team, which is going to participate in the BCCI national tournament, left for Rajkot in Gujarat on January 2. He said that Shivani will participate in the league matches from January 4 to January 12 for the Punjab team. Dr Raman Ghai said that before being selected in the Under-23 team, Shivani has also played in the Under-19 team for Punjab. Expressing happiness over Shivani’s selection in the Punjab team, he said that this was a matter of happiness for the entire Hoshiarpur district.
He said that Shivani, who is studying in BA Part-2 in SD College, Hoshiarpur, can achieve better position in the coming days and stake her claim in the national team. HDCA president Dr Daljit Singh Khela congratulated Shivani on her selection and said that the other players should also try to move forward by working hard like Shivani.
