Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal announced today that the Punjab government has launched a unified state helpline, 1100, which serves as a common resource for public grievances, citizen feedback, requests and information related to various departments by consolidating all non-emergency services.
Panchal stated that citizens can call 1100 for information, inquiries about government schemes, and to lodge complaints. Additionally, departments will utilise this helpline to conduct outreach, collect citizen feedback and promote awareness of their services.
Encouraging the maximum usage of this helpline, the DC emphasised that it aims to enhance citizen satisfaction and build trust in government services. He also noted that the helpline will foster better cooperation among departments, leading to more effective implementation of schemes.
