Several clubs, market associations, members of residential societies, staff in offices and students of educational institutes celebrated Holi on Thursday.

As students played Holi on the campuses as the day got over, the authorities laid stress on the use of herbal colours and flowers to enjoy the 'festival of colours'.

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised a Tilak Holi with a message of keeping environment clean. Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi along with faculty members of the college celebrated Holi with the flowers to mark the festival of joy and happiness. During the celebration, sweets were also distributed among all staff members of the college. The principal said such festivities give a break from the monotonous routine and are always welcomed.

Various branches of St Soldier Group organised a 'Green Holi' on the campus in which students made posters, slogans and rangoli for the theme. All staff members and students celebrated Holi with flowers and organic colors.
