Hoshiarpur, July 27
Member of Parliament Dr Rajkumar Chabbewal held a meeting with officials of the Education Department at his residence to discuss the ambitious School of Happiness project and other schemes. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between government and private schools by providing world-class facilities and resources to students.
Dr Chabbewal said that currently, five schools of Hoshiarpur have been selected and the first installment of Rs 11,89,000 per school will be released soon. These schools will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which will provide a holistic environment that will promote academic excellence, emotional well-being and social development. He said that these schools will have smart classrooms with interactive whiteboards and digital resources, advanced science and technology laboratories for practical education, huge libraries with a vast collection of books and digital resources, sports facilities including playgrounds, gymnasiums and swimming pools, art and music studios for creative expression, counselling and guidance centres for emotional support.
