On Tuesday, green fodder was distributed to hungry and stranded animals in the flood-hit villages of Brahmapur and Chaidar. The relief initiative was led by General Nangal, Chairman of the Improvement Trust Phagwara and Punjab SC Wing In-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party, along with his dedicated team.

In a statement, Nangal stressed the ongoing severity of the situation in the flood-affected areas. “Floods have not only caused immense hardship for the people, but animals are also facing hunger. While we have been distributing dry feed for animals, today we have provided green fodder in Brahmapur and Chaidar to ease their suffering,” he said.

The donation ceremony was attended by Dera Sacha Sauda’s State Committee Member Ramkaran Insan Bhawanigarh, Ram Singh, Chairman Aspal Kalan and Gurmel Das Jhaneri.

Mangesh Sood, Secretary of Red Cross Society Hoshiarpur, acknowledged the exemplary service provided by Dera Sacha Sauda. He confirmed that the materials—such as tarpaulins, mosquito nets, dry juice, odonil and tortoise shells—will be distributed to the affected individuals. Additionally, members of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Committee will assist in the distribution process in collaboration with the Red Cross Society.

Ramkaran Insan, on behalf of Dera Sacha Sauda, highlighted that under the guidance of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Committee members had been actively distributing relief materials in flood-affected areas, including Tanda, Dasuya and Mukerian. He added that after conducting a survey of these villages and upon the administration’s request, mosquito nets, tarpaulins, mosquito repellent creams and coils had been sent to the Red Cross Society for distribution.
