IAF Group Captain Gurbir Kang does Jalandhar proud, selected for Vishist Sena Medal

Group Captain Gurbir Kang, who hails from Jalandhar, has been selected for the Vishist Sena Medal for distinguished services.
Group Captain Kang did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Jalandhar Cantonment, after which he graduated from Beant College of Engineering and Technology, Gurdaspur. He joined the Indian Air Force in 2002. His father Gurjit Singh Kang has been Chief Scientist and former Director, Central Potato Research Station, Jalandhar. He resides at Jal Vayu Vihar here.
Kang said his son’s investiture ceremony would be held at Rashtrapati Bhawan shortly.
