Following a series of diplomatic visits aimed at presenting India’s stance on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and the recently launched “Operation Sindoor,” members of a cross-party parliamentary delegation, including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The delegation, which included sitting MPs, former parliamentarians and seasoned diplomats, was part of a coordinated outreach to various countries to articulate India’s unwavering position against terrorism and its strong commitment to global peace.

Speaking after the meeting, MP Ashok Mittal expressed pride in being part of the mission and gratitude for the opportunity to represent India on the global stage. “The Prime Minister interacted with all the MPs who travelled abroad to present India’s viewpoint. It was a moment of pride for all of us,” he said.

Mittal further noted, “We shared our experiences from different parts of the world where we clearly communicated India’s firm stance against terrorism and highlighted our dedication to the ideal of global harmony. These visits reflected the collective strength of India’s democratic values and the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family.”

The delegation’s global engagements underscored India’s proactive diplomacy and the growing recognition of its role in maintaining international peace and security.
