Reaffirming its commitment to community health and welfare, the Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL) unit of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Una, has donated 1000 bedside components for thalassemic patients to the Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur, under its flagship CSR initiative, Project Arogya Dhara.
The donation was formally handed over to the hospital through Aashika Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, in the presence of Dr Seema Garg, District Immunization Officer, Hoshiarpur. The initiative reflects IndianOil’s dedication to healthcare support for vulnerable sections of society. These components will be used primarily for children affected by thalassemia who require regular blood transfusions and long-term care.
Speaking on the occasion, Amandeep Bhardwaj, Senior Operation Manager, NRPL Una, emphasised that IndianOil’s Project Arogya Dhara aims to support critical healthcare infrastructure and enhance the quality of treatment in public health facilities. The initiative is a step towards ensuring equitable access to care and improving treatment outcomes for children battling chronic illnesses such as thalassemia.
