District chairperson of the Inner Wheel Club Manmohan Suri on Saturday visited its Jalandhar West chapter to supervise its functioning.

Suri told club president Ashu Wadhera that she was satisfied to see the continuous health projects undertaken by the club.

Wadhera apprised her of club activities, “An awareness talk has been held on cervical cancer vaccination in four schools. Two mammography camps were organised and more than 100 test were done. The club solemnised the marriage of six needy girls, gave three sewing machines, two wheelchairs and extended help to three patients requiring cataract surgery and one requiring breast surgery. Additionally an inverter was given to a school.”
