The MoU was formally signed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amaninder Kaur Brar and Dr Rajiv Khurana, Founder-Trustee of Lung Care Foundation. Under this collaboration, both parties will work jointly to develop sustainable interventions for improving air quality in the district. The focus areas include clean air initiatives, health advocacy, tackling crop residue burning, and promoting circular and sustainable practices.

LCF, through its ‘Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action’ (DFCA) programme in collaboration with the UNEP , will support the district administration in raising awareness about the health impacts of air pollution.
