Additional District & Sessions Judge Rajwinder Kaur, Civil Judge (Sr Division) Jasbir Kaur, Chief Judicial Magistrate Monika Lamba, Junior Magistrate (Ist Class) Poonam Kashyap and Priyanka Sharma on Monday visited Mansurwal village in Kapurthala and distributed grocery items among the needy.

Earlier, District & Sessions Judge Kishore Kumar, along with Chief Judicial Magistrate Ajit Pal Singh, distributed items of daily use among residents at Guru Nanak Ashram in Saprod village, near Phagwara, on Saturday.

Meanwhile, activists from social organisations distributed essential goods in slum areas. Congress MLA Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal held a meeting with officials of government departments and reviewed the situation. He asked the officials to be friendly with the public. Union Minister of State Som Parkash and his wife Anita Som Parkash also visited various places to help the needy. — OC
