Junior Model School, Ladowali Road, has achieved success in the 68th district school boxing championship held at State School of Sports, Jalandhar. The boys’ and girls’ teams brought home six overall trophies, boosting the school’s reputation in the district.

The school’s U-14, U-17 and U-19 boxing teams delivered outstanding performances, securing a total of 19 gold, 13 silver and 10 bronze medals. Their efforts culminated in Junior Model School winning the overall district boxing trophy.

Upon their return to school, Principal Maninder Kaur and Coach Mohit Sharma welcomed the victorious teams. Medals and sports equipment were distributed to the players in recognition of their achievements.

This victory marks the school’s third consecutive win at the district school boxing championship, making it a hat-trick triumph. “Dr Mohit Sharma, the school’s Director of Physical Education, has played a key role in training the teams, contributing to their continued success,” said Principal Maninder Kaur.
