The Kapurthala Central Cooperative Bank Ltd has been awarded the Best Performance Award for outstanding achievement in the banking sector. The recognition was conferred during the 44th NABARD Foundation Day celebrations, held to honour exceptional contributions in the field of cooperative banking.

The award was presented by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, acknowledging the bank’s consistent performance, customer-centric approach and commitment to innovation.

Bank officials, including Managing Director S. Harjinder Singh Sandhu and District Manager Sh. Naresh Kumar Lakhanpal, attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of the bank’s team. “This award is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of our entire staff, under the able leadership of S. Harjit Singh Sandhu, Managing Director of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd, Chandigarh,” they said.

They emphasised the bank’s ongoing commitment to enhancing service delivery, embracing digital transformation and fostering community development. “We are proud to be recognised for our efforts and will continue to focus on innovation, employee development and expanding our outreach,” the officials added.
