Kapurthala to have 42 e-vehicle centres

To provide employment opportunities to the youth, the Punjab Government is establishing e-Vehicle Convenience Centres in every district. As many as 42 such centres would soon be established in Kapurthala district to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth.

Kapurthala Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said these e-vehicle centres would provide the services like online pollution check, auto insurance, roadside assistance, FASTag, waterless car wash, driver on call, etc.

He said these centres would be established under the profit-sharing model with 50-50 share. He said the candidates between 18 and 35 years of age and having mechanical engineering diploma or graduation degree could register for the franchise of e-facility centre. On Wednesday, an e-vehicle registration camp was organised at the District Employment and Business Bureau, District Administrative Complex, Kapurthala. The DC urged the interested youth of the district to take maximum advantage of it.

Youth can apply

Candidates between 18 and 35 years of age and having mechanical engineering diploma or graduation degree can register for the franchise of the e-facility centre, which will provide services like online pollution check, auto insurance, roadside assistance, FASTag, car wash, driver on call, etc.
